This app makes it easier to get where youre going with access to the citys bus routes in English and Chinese. Shanghai Stops will show you all stops on the bus line you choose with wait time, prices, schedule, and a bus photo. And dont worry if you have no internet connection, this data is all available offline.
If this isnt enough info and you have a 3G/4G or Wifi connection, you can view an individual stop or the whole route on a map.
Search by line name or number to view the stops on the buses route.
Search by stop name to view bus lines available at that stop.

Shanghai Stops app good for
Shanghai has a marvelous but complex bus system. However, the city lacks a citywide bus map, in English or Chinese. This app shows you the each bus route in English and a very helpful overlay of be bus routes onto Google Maps. At first the Google Maps display within the bus app didnt work for me because of the "Great Firewall" but beginning about a month ago it started to work and has worked ever since. (The regular Google Maps app still is firewalled).
This app really helps my life in Shanghai as a "waiguoren".
This app is great. Ive always been said that there is no complete online buses map, but with this app thats no true.
You can see all the stations name and their position on the map. Really great and really cheap!
Some bad moments
The worst app ever... To pay for it is a joke or a scam... I opt for a scam
If you cannot understand how one can sell an app that doesnt work in the default setting of a country (ie. without vpn), dont buy this app!!
It will be ok if one day you can choose what map you want to use it with. But its useless for now...
Google Maps doesnt work in china anymore. So this app is useless
I use that program for one year sure, maybe two. And last two months map is not working! Just white screen. I deleted/downloaded many times but still the same problem. Return my money or make smth.thanks
No timetables. User interface simply forces you to choose a busline and puts that stop on the map. I cant choose a route. I cant even see a route!
I cant figure out how to use this. Having a graphical representation of the route on a map would make some sense. For the newbie or visitor, IMHO its useless. I will change my review as improvements are implemented.
